Melanie was born and raised on the Eastern Shore. She is a graduate Bayside Academy and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Stetson University. Her inspiration comes from her love of the outdoors and the wildlife that surronds her in the back bays of Baldwin County. Her driftwood sculpture was recently published in International Marlin Magazine and has recieved many accolades for her artwork. She is an avid outdoorsman and and fihserman. Melanie and her husband Captain Harold S. Britt own and operate Back Bay Sailing Adventures aboard their sailing yacht Arminda in Orange Beach Alabama.
